Sorry, today’s diary is a moan. You may agree with it or not. But I am still going to moan. I quite sure that most of you will agree. If you do I have put the contact details at the bottom to show how you feel.

As I have probably told you, because Tesco are our nearest Supermarket we use them for the majority of our shopping. We really dont have the time to gop further. We purchase the Tesco value bread to feed to the Badger. The reason for that choice is that at the Tesco Taunton store you could nearly give a 100% guarantee that it would be partly stale. Ideal for us when we spread the peanut butter onto it as it does not tear and breakup like fresh bread. The slices also do not stick together as fresh bread does when we tear it in to pieces. Reading it over it I am sounding like a bread expert.

The price of the Tesco value bread a year ago was from 26 to 28p a loaf. Last year the price of wheat doubled and more. That caused all bread to increase by about 27%, to about
