Denbury Farm Terms and Conditions

 

Period of Hire.

To allow us ample time to get the cottages ready for your stay please do not arrive early or depart late. Denbury Farm is accessed through automatic gates that are not opened before 3.30pm for new arrivals.

Rental commences at 4.00pm on the day of arrival and terminates at 10.00am on the day of departure.

Payment: A deposit of 20% of the booking is payable if the booking is made more than 6 weeks before the commencement of the rental. The balance should be paid before the commencement of the rental unless prior arrangements have been agreed. We do not send out reminders or do we cancel your booking for none payment. Cancellations are only accepted by recorded delivery. If the hirers wants to cancel their holiday we will do we can to re-let the cottage. If we are unable to the hirer will be liable for the full payment. We strongly advise the appropriate Holiday Insurance is taken out to cover you. Cancellations must be by Post Office recorded delivery. No other cancellation method is acceptable.

Altered bookings: We will endeavour to meet a hirers request to alter rental dates or cottage selection after booking confirmation has been issued. Denbury Farm reserve the right to alter allocation of cottages subject to the cottage allocated being able to accommodate the number of people booked.

Occupancy & use: The number of persons occupying the property should not exceed the maximum number for that property outlined in the Cottages information with the exception of the addition of infant in cots. Settees and other temporary bedding are not allowed for sleeping. Any persons found above the amount will be charged at £50 person per night. The property shall be used for personal and domestic purposes only and shall not be used for any commercial purpose. An all male group of 4 or over who have not visited us previously should advise us on booking. There are dates in the year when we wont be able to accommodate.

Care of the Property: The hirer should take all reasonable care of the property and its contents and leave them in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of the rental.

Cleaning, Breakages & Damages: The hirer is expected to leave the accommodation and its contents in a clean and tidy condition on departure. You are legally bound to reimburse us for replacement, repair or extra cleaning costs on demand. An inventory is provided and the Hirer is requi red to pay the cost of replacement of broken/lost items. Should you lose your key we shall replace it upon you paying for the cutting of a new on. Denbury Farm has a no smoking policy in the cottages.

We encourage our Guests to explore the beautiful countryside and woods at Denbury Farm but you must always close gates behind you and never go into fields where there is any livestock for the safety of both the animals and yourselves.

Liability: Denbury Farm and its employees shall not be liable to the hirer, third parties or property for any accident, damage, loss, injury, expense or inconvenience which may be suffered, arise out of or in any way connected with the rental. No term of Contract is enforceable under the Contracts (Rights of the Third Party)

Right of Entry: Denbury Farm reserves the right to enter the property at all reasonable times for purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance

Inventory: All cottages are equipped with equipment deemed necessary for the purpose of holiday accommodation. Cots, highchairs are available on request free of charge.

Towels & Linen: All bed linen and kitchen tea towels are supplied. Personal towels are not supplied.

Electricity and Heating: Electricity is by prepayment meter. Heating is charged for as a daily supplement, payable in advanced.

Dogs.

Well behaved Dogs are welcome at Denbury Farm at a charge of £25 per Dog per week. To be paid with the final payment of your holiday. Do not arrive with dogs that have you have not advised us of or payment made. If you are booked into a cottage that dogs are not allowed you will not have accommodation or be refunded for your holiday cost.

You must not allow your dogs into the Cottages with mud or dirt on them. A tap is supplied to wash off. You will be liable for cost of any damage or cleaning caused by your dog. Dogs must always be kept on a lead around the Farm Yard, Cottages, Lakes and in the Woods. Dogs must never be left in the Cottage alone.

Denbury Farm have a variety of free range turkey, chickens, ducks and other animals, all being our pets. If your dog is believed to be a threat to any of them you will have to remove it immediately.
