Thank you so much for starting up your diary. I am so pleased that Woody is on the mend and looking forward to seeing her new foal. Also it is really interesting to read messages from people around the world. ONE QUESTION: Can you please tell me if there is still a problem with the Butterfly Cams? I found it fascinating to watch them and also the antics of the leaf cutter ants. Pat(Herts)
New cameras are on site, and hopefully will be installed next week

Just been reading about Ky going out for a walk, how exciting, cant wait to see her. Roughly what time does this happen so i can try and watch her.I agree she is a beautiful dog and crafty as well the way she pinches her mums food when her back is turned.Totally addicted since the pups were born!
Most days it tends to be between 5 and 6.pm

spotted 3 deer on cam 2 at 6:40 whilst waiting for the badgers what a bonus keep up the excellent work denbury farm . karen stoke on trent.

Hello to all at Denbury farm,
Can you tell me why the webcams no longer show Squirrels feeding?Have you been got at by the politically correct who don’t think grey squirrels should be fed.? We miss seeing their antics.Regards,Ken and Sue Mitchell. PS We dont have Squirrels here in NZ
We miss them to, for unknown reasons they disappeared. You may catch a glimpse of one on Cam 1 eating the bird seed. We will put out a few new feeders over the weekend.

A friend told me today that farmers may be allowed to shoot Badgers from this coming May, is it true?
I regret that it seems that it may well be true, for by all accounts junior Defra minister Jeff Rooker briefed journalist at the annual NFU conference that licences could be issued, by yes this May. We only confirmed this today. We will keep you informed of a new web site that will give you lots of information about the situation and what you can do.

How much better can this site get! Love the diary, it`s a wonderful idea. Please keep going for ever and ever. Thank you. Pat from North Wales.

I saw the telescope the other night and it was so amazing….I see from the diary it is not working tonight. I will check on it in a few days again as it was so worth it when it did work…
The diary is a great idea and enjoyed reading your first entry. I can see you transition from farmer to author!!
You have such a great site on here and I watched the bird in the nest today. I then watched the haunting camera tonight and there seems to be so much activity in that corner…It is 10.00 pm American (east coast time) so that would make it 3.00 am your time right?
Interesting to know if there was a lot of banging around that time.
Love your site. Love your animals. Love Jennifer in America

spotted jasper again the other night briefly. But to see ky takes my breath what a beautifull dog love her ears they are her best feaure its nice to watch her go for her afternoon walk whats the border collie called fantastic sitr thanks again karen stoke on trent.

ooh I have just had a great treat of watching someone take the dogs for a walk, fantastic to see Tass and Ky playing and running around. Who was the other dog they were with, it too was lovely
That was Jade our overweight 14 year old Springer Spaniel, who has to be prised out of the door so that she can be taken for a walk, to lose a bit of weight.

Lovely to hear about jasper wish I had seen him How are all the other pups doing?
We have only heard from Sable, Jasper and Darcey, they are doing very good.

Is there a problem with the web cam on Tass & Ty this morning? Reception doesn’t seem very good. Such a shame they seem to be in the pen for a long time
Tass and Ky are only in the pen at feeding times so that Ky can be seen growing up. At other times they are free range around the farm and in our home

Hi there been watching Badger cam now for a few days and have finally seen one well 6 to be exact!! Sorry if this has been asked before but what is the food that is put down for them? Excellent cameras thanks for sharing. Liz North Yorkshire

i have just watched the ghost cam hoping to see something then it happened a small pup that looked like ky strolled in walked around the rocking horse and left as quickly as she appeared it made me sit up i can tell you i hope some one else saw this it was funny karen stoke on trent
That would have been Jasper one of Ky’s brothers, who lives at the haunted house, you will see him most days with his Jack Russell friend Patch.

Can you tell me please if there is a problem with the butterfly farm webcams? I have not been able to get anything on them for some time.
Webcam 2 is now working. New cameras will be installed over the next week for Webcam 1, it will show the Butterfly feeding table, and the Pond and Bridge view.Thankyou for letting us know. Please let us know by email when any of the webcams are not working.

Are the Astro Webcams unable to work because of weather conditions? I have only seen anything on them once, a few weeks ago. There was a lovely, live picture of the moon, close up and a picture of a portion of the sun. These little glimpses have made me want to see more, but whenever I look there’s nothing to see! Am I just, unluckily, looking at the wrong times, or is there a problem with visibility? I’d love to know, please. JM
The weather is stopping us showing the Astro Webcams, the exceptionally warm weather this winter is causing more rain than normal, instead of cold frosty nights and clear skies.
