My daughters baby rabbits taken in summer 1994 The grey one at the back we decided to keep and was named Fred by my partner. He used to let him out at the weekends when he was here then he would feed him his toast and then when it was time for him to go back to the hutch Dave would just stand with the door open and he would go in. Sadly we don’t have him now but he certainly was a character Sue.

I have been speaking to Peter at SWT today. He was telling me that Osprey have been known to return to the Lock as early as the 18th of March.
Peter has put the close up camera of the nest on. As you can see there is very little of it left. If you follow the tree trunk up to the smaller branch facing toward you, nearly at the top of the picture, that is where the nest reached last year. The Ospreys will have a lot of work getting the nest ready.
As you can see we have moved Emmi and the Foal into the larger stable that we made a little while back. With the weather as it is the Foal has more room to have a run around. We have not been able to let them out as much as we would like. We do open the stable door when we can. Emmi is not that keen on letting Lady to near her Foal, being in the larger stable she is able to keep him away from the end next to Lady’s stable.
With the days getting longer I am going to have to start feeding the Badgers later. Tonight I fed the at about 6.30pm I will gradually feed a little later so that i will be feeding them at about 7.pm within a week. For a change I am putting the lower camera feeding place on. All that is needed is in place to put another Badger camera on the main Sett entrance. But I have not managed to be able find the time. I want to be able to position it at about the Badger head height. I may be wrong but I think that it could be a quite interesting position.
