There are five new photographs on the Photo page, starting from number six.

Dawlish Warren beach. Sue.

Another picture from the Dorset Steam Fair hope you all like it. CH.

ROCKS ON THE SURPRISE NEAR SHEFFIELD. LYNNE.

Airlie Beach Australia. Elsie.

Shelduck. Barry, Rye Harbour. It was not really meant for the Photo page.

Nothing seems to be coming together at the moment. I spoke to Peter in Delaware, USA. He hope to be able to get out to the webcam as soon as the weather gets better. We are hoping to see Bold Eagles, Brown Eagle and Osprey. The Osprey has already arrived. I also spoke to Simon in Spain about the Griffon Vulture. I have copied his email to me so that you can see a progress report.

I showed the climber the site and it is possible with ropes, harness and all the bits. He has a group climbing this week in Spain and then he has a five day trip to Morocco next week then he is back for a couple of days before his next trip, so we shall put the camera in the nest as soon as he is back. The easy nest site is still empty which is a pain, but that is nature. I was climbing yesterday on a face where I went into two nests to see if the eggs had hatched which they had not, but the problem is there is nowhere to send the signal too so I can only get stills images from them. I will keep you updated.
Cheers Simon.

As you can see that the location for the Griffon Vulture nest webcam is not easy to access, and is a bit of a challenge.

The other webcam that we are hoping to do is a Barn Owl nest. A new nest box, fitted with a camera was installed last October. The Barn Owls when they finish nesting roost in another barn at the location over the Winter, returning to the nest box in the Spring to start nesting again. They haven’t as yet returned to the nest box barn. We will just have to hope that they don’t go some where else.
